Yeah - it's a bit shocking to learn that Jeremy has started exhibiting teething symptoms at a mere 2.5 months. He started drooling last Tuesday afternoon, refused his bottle, was cranky and kept gnawing his fingers. This sent my parents (who were looking after him) into a panic freenzy who called me at work, asking me when I could come and bring him to the paed. They couldn't tell what was wrong with him and kept checking whether he was running a temperature. I guess mom and dad must have forgotten that once upon a time, as a baby, yours truly was also probably in the exact same position.
In the end, I had to tell them that he was probably teething. I then asked them to give him a cold wash towel to chew on so that his gums would feel better. I guess it worked cos he calmed down and was able to finish his milk. I bought him teething rings but they seemed too big for him. I guess for now cold wash towels would do.
So the big question is when will his first milk teeth sprout? Could be in the next couple of weeks or when he reaches 6 or 7 months. If it's the latter, he will probably have bear with the discomfort for the next few months. Hopefully, he will get use to it.
In the meantime, we eagerly await the emergence of his lower central incisors!
