Baby James came to town last week all the way from Melbourne with his parents. We met up with them and finally saw Baby James in the flesh. He is two weeks younger then Jeremy. He is a really cute baby. He has twinkling eyes and a cheery toothless smile. Mummies exchanged babies briefly and they were fine until of course each started to get hungry during our 6 course Chinese meal at Mandarin Oriental. Baby James was really well-behaved. He drank his milk and promptly went to sleep in his stroller. Baby Jeremy was the opposite. He drank his milk and started fidgeting in his stroller. He was sleepy and tired but refused to sleep in his stroller while it was stationery. I had to carry and lull him to sleep on my shoulder which of course did the trick. I didn't know what to get for Baby James for his first visit to Malaysia but settled on something at Chateau De Sable which caught my eye recently.
After that, we went home and we got together again the next day for a simple lunch hosted by his family for his relatives in Malaysia. We tried to get the two babies to interact which wasn't quite successful cos Jeremy was more interested in Baby James toys. However, when baby James granny made him giggle, Jeremy who was there and witness it, started to giggle as well. So we had 2 babies giggling for a short time. Anyway, Jeremy was fidgety in his stroller as usual as it was his nap time. I had to carry him on my shoulder and very soon he fell asleep on it.
After lunch, we decided to take some photos of the two babies together. And you could see that they were kinda interacting for the photo shoot *lol* My camera of course was on strike. This was taken with my hubby's phone camera.
That's baby James and his mom on the left, and me and Jeremy on the right. See how James is touching Jeremy and Jeremy is looking in his direction.
Since they will be in Malaysia for a couple of days before they had to Singapore, James's mom asked me for great places to shop for baby stuff before they leave. Since they have been to KLCC, I suggested perhaps they might want to try out the Curve as they have a pretty good selection of baby stuff on the 2nd floor i.e Anakku, My First Few Years, Hamster London, Mothercare and etc, plus the place is baby friendly as you can rent a stroller, heaps of ramps for you to push your stroller on AND to top it off they have a really posh looking baby care room (most of the time, this is located in the women's washroom) on the 2nd floor.
After that, I stopped by Lot 10 to check out babyGap as I have been dying to get there since it opened in Late November. I got him 2 pairs of socks and 3 cute tops. Frankly, I felt that the clothes were not as expensive as Hallmark or Osh Kosh. Will post pictures of the stuff I got for Jeremy later.

I agree with you that The Curve is such a baby friendly store. And I must say they have one of the best baby rooms around Klang Valley. It does look like a nursery room...
Baby Gap - they opened one in Mid Valley recently. Went there over the weekend, but it's the winter collection now.
Try Pumpkin Patch in 1U. I got some clothes last week, and they are having sales up to 50% off.. I am actually buying for CNY !!
Maybe both are boys, that's why the interaction was failed.
My son gets along well with his older cousins. But not so if he's with his younger cousins. He seems to feel "threatened" by the younger ones as we tend to pay more attention to them. Manja, my son is. *lol
oo gap opened in 1u as well, but havent got time to check it out. Faythe just received a bikini from Gap, gift from her god mom in UK, very nice i must say hehe
