All decked out in his Chateau De Sable Vest bought by Daddy and his little yellow Baby Poo hat from Hong Kong Disneyland bought by mommy. Makes him look like a prep school kid huh?
It's hard to imagine that it was exactly 7 months ago that I gave birth to him after 10 hours in labour which eventually ended when he was taken out via a C-section, a procedure which took less than 10 minutes. Thinking back, I felt kinda cheated for being made to wait 10 over hours for his royal grand entrance knowing that in the end I could have had him in 10 minutes after been admitted to the hospital; *lol*. Well - I guess it doesn't make any difference to me now as I would have had him one way or another.
Anyway, he's getting pretty cheeky and active these days. Loves doing the whole " I'm conquering Mount Everest" thingy using my tummy flabs as steps. Seems to like banging stuff on the tray in front of him while in the pram. Today, I discovered that he loves to play peeka-boo with me while daddy was carrying him in his arms. I hid behind daddy and called out to him and he quickly turned his head left and right to see where I was. Each time he "found" me, he laughed and giggled loudly.
Diet wise, he's on two semi solids a day consisting of Heinz rice cereal mashed with an assortment of vegies. He loves carrots and pumpkin but appears to dislike sweet potato and bananas. He is impartial towards celery, spinach, brocolli and cauliflower. I'm still trying to get a good recipe off anybody on stewed and pureed apples.
As for milk, he's now on Promil Gold after six months on S26 Gold.
His bottom two incisors are out and visible. His upper incisors should no doubt be appearing soon as his upper gums seems to be swollen and he appears to be "scratching" his upper gums with his index finger.
Amusing himself in his pram while Mummy attempts to "shoot" him with the high tech camcorder

Hellooo - me also have not blogged for ages..
Stewed Apples/Pears are very easy.
Slice the fruit to thin pieces and steam for 10-15 mins until soft. Bring them out and mash it over a stainless steel sieve. There will be some leftover juice/water in the bowl when you steam, so you can use that to dilute the fruit before feeding him. What I do is pour that into his feeding bottle and dilute with water a little, voila - you will have apple juice.
Jazzmint : Thankee
