Pinky and I are cracking our head on which printer to purchase with the following primary uses:
1. Scan in old pictures
2. Print pictures from the Camcorder and Camera
We hope to get recommendations on model and brand. And of course, price is a major consideration

Look for printer which has individual ink tanks. This is cost savings and effective. Epson, HP and Canon have equally good printers. Best is to have a look at them at shops and perhaps look at the print quality as well.
Thanx for the response. We zeroed down to HP PhotoSmart 5280 but CNet Asia seems to recommend Canon MP500 due to more features for the same amt of money. Any thoughts? And also pardon my 'illiteracy' in technology - what are individual ink tanks? Do they apply to the two models I mentioned above?
