Ok, here are some of early shots taken. A couple of comments.
Sharpness - I must say its one of the sharpest primes I have seen. Although its designed to take micro shots, it seems to me it can perform fairly well in terms of colour contrast and sharpness for a normal picture like this. This was taken during the 2008 Christmas season at the Gardens Mid Valley.

Me? Yea sort of, just a hobby. I loved the pic you took of the lights at the Gardens.....Really sharp!!!Hmm, RM1700 isn't bad eh. I usually get my stuff (when I have money that is) at YS Photo in SS2. Do you have a speedlight? If yes, which one?
I find speedlight a hassle and also of course no budget for it as well ! :-)
Flash photography also quite 'tough' for children I thot. (Maybe I am wrong)
