Travel logs - Daylesford, Victoria
The first two pictures came from Lake House where the meetings were held. It's a niche hotel with very cost environment. It's not too big in size and yet has all the facilities required such as wifi, good food and reliable hotel services.
Ellender estate is actually one of the highlights of the visit to Daylesford. Apparently, the owner gave up his dentistry practice to open a vineyard in the rural area. While we were there, he showed us the different stage of wine making and let us tried variety of wine and different phase of the process. Ironically, it was NOT the final stage of the wine that taste better (in my humble view)!
the last picture is actually The Convent in Daylesford, located in Wombat Hill Botanical Garden's crest overlooking the whole of Daylesford. It was formerly a convent converted into a cafe and a art gallery. Good food was the highlight before the team moved back to Melbourne to fly back to their respective countries.
