Weekends don't count unless you spend them doing something completely pointless.....

I can't remember who said the above but it was certainly either Calvin or his man-eating tiger, Hobbes. I certainly do not recall doing anything pointless since I had Jeremy! Anyway, the weekend was a rather busy period for Brain as he was up to his knees doing what he would usually do at work - cracking his brains over some complicated work related stuff which came with a super tight deadline! Plus he had to entertain all these chaps from Down Under who incidentally were his clients while I lull my time away entertaining young master Jeremy who is now begining to exhibit signs of separation anxiety i.e the getting up in the middle of night for short howl to be reassuringly patted/carried before he drifts off to Zzzzland (I read about this recently on babycentre. I had previously attributed this to his teething problems but I guess I was wrong!) , the shrieks and cries if I suddenly move out of his view to get something...

I got him something from Marks and Spencer during the weekend, a Mr Tickle T-shirt from the Mr Men & Little Miss series. I thought it was rather cute since Mr Tickle arms are really long and they go all the way behind the T-shirt. So when Jeremy wore it yesterday, it looked like he was being tickled frm the back by Mr Tickle's long orangey arms and hands.

I have always been fond of the Mr Men and Little Miss series, having read most of the books way back starting when I was 5. I remember rereading some of them even at the age of 12. My favourite characters have always been Mr Bump, Mr Chatterbox and Mr Messy. I'm hoping to get the whole Mr Men series for Jeremy when he gets older. Right now isn't the time for that since I have discovered recently that he loves tearing up magazines when left unattended - the beginnings of a Master Destroyer. He will tear the entire page out really neatly and then proceed to crumple the entire thing up into ball. He did just that a few weeks ago with my New Idea magazine. Nicole Kidman's wrinkled face scowled at me as I tried to smoothen out the creases from the torn page.

Anyway, here are some pictures of him cuddling and playing with his favourite all time toy during the weekend - his lamaze elephant!

And here is a picture of his royal highness seating in his bamboo chair and being served his meal of the day! Btw - He was wearing his Mr Tickle Shirt underneath that bib!

So there is nothing pointless about this weekend or any other weekend!

Sasha/ Hui Sia: Cost a bomb lah for me even though I got a 15% off from my Citibank credit card. Paid RM32 for it. But couldn't resist buying it and they only had one size left which fitted him!

Baby-Ryanlim: Actually, I got his CNY clothes from HK when I was there in November. Will post photo of this later. It's one of those chinese tunics and shorts. This particular one just caught my eye and I couldnt resist putting it on for him after washing it as soon as I got home!

Jazzmint: Thankee...
